Thank you to everyone who has shared their big picture ideas as part of the Charles Darwin University Campuses of the Future Masterplan engagement.
There have been close to 1600 community interactions to date via workshops, meetings, pop-up events, online surveys of campus users and the community, and quick polls. Flyers were sent to almost 13,000 addresses across Darwin and there’s been a highly visible presence of the engagement on campus.
The CDU Masterplan will set out a strategy for the coming years – for the university’s built form and environment on the Casuarina, Palmerston and Waterfront campuses and provide a guide on how we can improve life on campus for students, staff and visitors.
It is an important document, and that is why we have been so eager to hear from the Darwin community and, more specifically, our campus communities about the process and where we should be heading.
The engagement reach has been broad and the level of input from stakeholders and the community has been high. It has shown a strong sense of connection with CDU and highlighted how valued the university is.
Stay tuned for more information about what that extensive engagement process has revealed.
